Chiropractic Adjustments

A chiropractic adjustment focuses on correcting and optimizing the biomechanics of the spine and other joints. Our skeletal system is an extremely complicated machine of moving parts composed of bones and the muscles/ligaments that move those parts. This system can be thrown out of balance by overly tight muscles, old injuries, new injuries, poor posture, and a number of other factors. It is by addressing these joint mis-alignments and changes to muscle and ligament tone that a chiropractor influences the effects in the body.

Every body is unique and therefore the chiropractic adjustment must also be unique to the individual. It is for this reason that chiropractors are trained in multiple adjusting techniques. At Endeavor Chiropractic we utilize a range of techniques including soft tissue work, instrument assisted chiropractic adjustments, and manual chiropractic adjustments. During your initial visit your chiropractor will discuss your personal health history and your needs to determine which adjusting technique is right for you.

Some of the named chiropractic techniques we use in the office include: Activator technique, Diversified technique, Gonstead technique, Thompson drop technique, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Logan technique, Motion Palpation technique, SacroOccipital technique (SOT), McKenzie exercises and Webster’s technique.
